What is ClearBright™?
ClearBright™ is a thin, transparent, adhesive backed window film. When installed it enables you to use a projector to display content on that window surface. The window stays clear whether or not the projector is in use so your window stays a window.

How is ClearBright™ installed?

What about the projector?
The good news is ClearBright™ works with any type but for best performance and specific recommendations see our guides below and read our PROJECTOR RECOMMENDATIONS. All are widely available through various online retailers.
*WARNING! We strongly advise against purchasing non name brand projectors, often found on amazon, that advertise high lux or lumens and low prices. They deceptively advertise lumen ratings using measurements that do not conform to the ANSI lumen international standard. Reputable projector companies include Epson, Viewsonic, Optima, BenQ, Panasonic, Sanyo, Casio, Barco.
Can ClearBright™ be reused?
In short, no. If it’s adhered to a surface then pulled totally off, the film and adhesive do not reapply very well as it may be damaged. The positive is that, compared to other window films, ClearBright™ is so transparent that customers who’ve mounted it on their large storefront windows have never felt a need to remove it as they can hardly tell it’s even there!

Does it work in the daytime?
Any display will struggle to compete against the power of the sun so on bright days the image will become washed out. However, on cloudy days, the shady side of buildings, and lower light hours ClearBright™ can perform well with high lumen projectors and bright content. That said, ClearBright's best application is lighting up otherwise dark windows at night where traditional signage would require additional lighting.

New to transparent Displays?
Projector Recommendations
Keep in mind that that ClearBright™ works with any projector. Pay attention to a projectors brightness measured in lumens. We recommend 3200-4000 for most applications projecting on surfaces up to 20 square feet. Increase lumens for larger display sizes.

Who is Lux Labs?
We're an MIT spinout formed by a group of physics professors and former PhD students in partnership with MIT business school graduates. Product Care
It is safe to clean both glass and film surface with mild window washing agents such as windex. Wipe with a paper towel and consider following up with a microfiber cloth to remove all streaks. Acrylic is prone to scratching so take care when moving or storing your screen. Small scratches on the acrylic or ClearBright™ film will not significantly affect its performance but larger scratches or many small scratches/chips will be more noticeable.

Our standard shipping for ClearBright™ film is Fedex or UPS. Delivery times are 3-5 days for North America and 5-8 days worldwide. We're happy to arrange faster delivery for an additional charge.
Return Policy
If you’re unsatisfied, simply return your product within 30 days of purchase. Used ClearBright™ film is not eligible for return since it can not be reused. All products are subject to inspection once returned and if there’s significant scratching or other damage may not be refunded.
Warranty
We offer a 2 year limited warranty on our ClearBright™ projection film. This warranty does not cover damage due to mishandling or misuse which results in damage to the product. It is the users responsibility to protect both screen and film products against scratching, chipping, and normal “wear and tear”. Film can be mounted to the outdoor surface of windows and has shown to be very durable during hot humid summers and cold New England winters.
